Obituary for Doris M. Eubank

Doris Marie Eubanks was born May 20, 1958 in Washington, DC. She was the second of seven children born to the late Darrell Upson and Robert Woolley. She is survived by her mother Doris Upson.

Doris graduated from Fayetteville Institution Technology School. She loved to do arts and crafts during her spare time, she enjoyed her daily bible reading and watching her nieces and nephews. She worked as a CNA for 30 years until illness would not allow her to continue working.

Doris was a member of the Eastern Starr #216. She served as a missionary, she also served on the women's organization, on the Nurses Unit and served as a dedicated member of the church. God was real to her, the doctors gave her two years, but God saw fit to give her fifteen years and one month.

Doris M. Eubanks drifted away to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at her residence with her family by her side. She was a loving, kind, free spirit who stood firm in her faith in God. She loved being with her family.

Doris leaves to cherish her memory her Mother, Doris Upson, Grandmother, Billy Thompson, three step-children, Schmel Jackson, Schemeka Jackson, and Brian Morton (Alecia), four God-children La'Tonia (Anthony), Janiece, Terrell, and Mekhi, seven grand-children, three sisters Tanya (Ernest), Denise (Earl), Tiffany Frye, four brothers Reggie, Tony (Toni), Marcus (Lia), and Ricardo, one brother-in-law William Eubanks (Linda), two sister-in-law’s, Anita Taylor (Darren), Sally Williams, three God-sisters, Karen, Maxine, Thomasina, one God-brother, Greg (Khadijah), a special cousin Jackie, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and one of her best friends, Virginia Lewis-Brown (DeeDee). Preceding her in death were her husband Dennis Eubanks, fathers Darrell W. Upson and Robert Woolley and her sister Janice Engram.

She posed the ability to stand and with stand the adversities of life. She will be missed for her revered motivation and unprecedented resolutions to problems and issues of life.```````.
